It is difficult for me to describe how humiliating it is to know that millions of Americans have voted for this man to enter the nomination. These people that buy into this man’s massive scam and incredible fraudulence. I don’t think I could ever understand the mentality that goes into a vote for this person….this “Mitt Romney”. I can never understand what these people see in a rich member of the “one percent” that can not and will not represent the true interests of the people as president of the Union.

            I know that Americans are committed to supporting those people they think will support their interests. However, these interests are likely distorted as they can’t possibly be anything related to freedom or security or peace. I think all this is partially determined by the political brainwashing that has led to the politically divided nation we have today. Some most likely vote for their political team and nothing more but that doesn’t explain why they vote for Romney and not for Ron Paul.

            I think most Americans simply fear the concept of freedom and human rights. If not, then why do Americans seem to act revolted at the concept? Why must the majority seem to embrace totalitarianism? Why do the majority seek to support wars, the military “culture” and the use of force itself? I think it is an important reason why people support Romney and not Paul. Romney must represent their insane desire to promote fascism. Of course it isn’t in anyone’s best interests that the state acts as an inhibitor to its own Constitution. I can not understand the mentality that leads millions to favor tyranny over the concepts of equality under the law and the ideals of non-aggression. I can’t understand the mentality that leads those same smiling people to aid someone that truly hates what the Union originally stood for. The Union once stood for freedom and the rise of human rights many years ago. The most recent presidents in the previous twelve years were and are an antithesis to freedom and were incredible mistakes made by a brainwashed and indoctrinated society. I believe that the people are led by race and religion to support their favored candidates. That is probably where some of the cult-like devotion originates from.

            Now we have a man that is incredibly wealthy and is outspoken in his utter allegiance to the corporate powers and the masses have been scammed into thinking he has their interests. The consolidation of wealth as power is part of fascism and Romney is the ultimate personification of this. The “bottom line” is simple. The man isn’t one of us. He is one of them. The elite. The “one-percent”. The specific name used isn’t important. He doesn’t have the interests of anyone except himself and the other powerful wealthy elite in the US.

            Or maybe I am wrong. Maybe this Romney has been nominated by people that have completely embraced the corruption and tyranny of the previous decade and perhaps they have truly desired this for our Union. I only know that the interests of tyranny are not in the interests of the people of the US. It is only in the interests of authoritarians and their eager supporters.

            Of course none would need to search for the words “Mitt Romney supporters” to know that Romney knows who he wants supporting him and will use this to his advantage while continuing to take advantage of the ignorance displayed by Americans. People will forget that he thinks corporations are “people” but despite that fact that he isn’t one of us, his ability to act out certain displays to appear relatable to the average right wing voter is part of Romney’s act like every other politician. So…his voters are probably close to 99.9% so-called “white” and the vast majority are religious. And of course the majorities of these people are right wing, authoritarian, pro-military, pro-law enforcement, pro-capitalism and focuses their desire towards having a person that acts like one of them. Romney will take advantage of this and those that oppose this agenda are swept aside as they would vote for Ron Paul anyway.

            So in conclusion, this opinion piece doesn’t really say anything new about why these sadly misinformed people vote for the same faction again and again. But I have noted that nothing will change while the masses blindly support people like Mitt Romney and the lies about him are expressed as true while true patriots like Ron Paul are marginalized. I don’t have the hate towards Romney’s supporters. They simply are not aware of this man’s true allegiances and are unaware of the corruption in government. The man will not be a president for the people. He is a scheming supporter of corporate rule and will be nothing more then America’s next big mistake.
