Hello, I went to Woodland's tulip fields today and I took photos of flowers. I enjoy the sight and smell of flowers. The place is Woodland, WA, US. I hope you enjoy the photos.

I don't think I need to mention the Code of Honor here but it will be enforced normally in the same manner as anything I publish.

Thank you. I saw dozens of different tulip types at those tulip fields. The Honeymoon was nice to look at and there were others that looked similar but with different colors like the Valery Gergiev.

Cool. I did the Mt. Vernon Tulip thing Saturday. Got up at 3:00 in the hopes of catching a nice sunrise, but it was overcast.

Great flowers, I especially liked Honeymoon.

I was taking photos at 12:00 in the afternoon so the sunlight was from above. Honeymoon was good and an interesting one to look at.

All kidding aside, nice job! One of my favorite subjects for pictures too. (I take shots of desert wild flowers)

Actually, many are actually edible. Broccoli is a flower ya know...

Roses are edible, as are tulips and carnations. (They are an acquired taste however)

          Mongo like candy too.

I can only see the last half at the moment, but I think your flowers are beautiful!

Edit: Got 'em! Love the Banja Luka!

Thanks. They are photos I took at the tulip show at Woodland, WA. I took over 100 photos but my camera's battery died before I could take photos of everything. The show had dozens of different tulip types and all of them were nice to look at and I even smelled some of them.

Hi Polka! I like your tulip pictures. The Appledorn is gorgeous! It looks like a rose! I used to have tulips back when I lived in Minnesota. Sometimes I would be planting my bulbs in the fall and the snow would be coming down! I had some of the Queen of the Night. They were beautiful. I had a mix of the lily flowering, the Dutch, the fringed edged, etc. I usually planted about 50 to 100 bulbs every year. Every year some of the bulbs would freeze and the blossoms get smaller as the years go by, so I kept planting new ones.

Now I live in the desert. We have beautiful and unusual flowers and flowering trees here, as well. I will try to post some of them for you. Right now the Ironwood trees are blooming. They are a soft heather grey color. We have tons of yellow flowering trees in the spring. Roses do quite well here, too.
